A collection of previously unreleased tracks taken from 10 years of Yellow Machines label-head Scanone's production archive. A collection of talented artists, directors and visual collectives have created original short films and promos and visual contents. Archive' is a retrospective audiovisual compilation produced by Jude Greenaway a.k.a. Scanone, and the latest multi-platform digital release from Lightrhythm Visuals. A range of decorated international directors and animators provide a lush visual canopy for Greenaway's soundscapes, concluding five years of work and unveiling a rich library of previously unreleased treasures. The short films and visual works lean towards digital abstraction, creating worlds where the elemental play of structure, light, and form compete for the leading role. Varying approaches yield a range of moods from the meticulous and mechanical sync of '1002' and otify' to the ambient sensitivity of 'Artfine' and he Goes'. Collaborations with artists like Jasmin Jondry and Stuart Sinclair contrast in style to the experimental approaches of directors Inside Us All and Yongsub. All in all, Greenaway's audio works have inspired a diversity of aesthetics which span the 60 minute compilation, which combine to form a consistent, modern soundtrack with museum-calibre images; a must-see for the audiophile, VJ and art collector alike. The DVD also holds a promo code allowing users to download an HD version of the disc and an app version of the album which streams updated films and contents as the 'Archive' library expands with guest remixes, footage from the release event and interviews being added after the release date. Jude Greenaway aka Scanone is a London-based director, editor, sound designer and composer. Jude has been a long time artistic collaborator at The Light Surgeons and worked extensively with Immersive producing audio-visual contents for galleries, shows and clients, which in turn has helped to fund and develop his well-established bass music and techno label Yellow Machines.
