Jay Geils's hard-driving blues and R&B-based Guitar helped act as the foundation for the incredibly popular J. Geils Band for nearly twenty years. After the band broke up in 1984, his love of exotic cars led to the creation of a successful restoration business. Lately, his desire to play music, particularly of the early blues and jazz styles he grew up loving, has led to the formation of Bluestime, a new group.
