Handlung und Filmbeschreibung:
So are Sabbath the greatest heavy metal band ever?... discuss.
This is the long awaited retrospective film study of the music of Blac Sabbath on record, on film and on stage from 1970 to 1992. Sabbath were an inspiration to hordes of imitators and millions of fans; but until now there has never been an authoritative independent review of the factors that shaped to the last shows of the Martin era, this powerful and penetrating film features extensive reflections from inside the Sabbath camp by Tony Lommi, Neil Murray, Ozzy Osbourne, Glenn Hughes, Geezer Butler and Booby Rondinelli, alongside the impartial and forthright views of a leading team of critics and working musicians. This hard hitting film critique pulls no punches and deals frankly with the thorny issue of Dio versus Ozzy, re-opens the debate surrounding the revovling line ups of the eighties and fearlessly poses the question: did Sabbath loose its way in the Martin era? In order to ensure editorial freedom the film has not been censored, viewed or approved by past or present management or members of Black Sabbath. You can also have your own say and join the great Sabbath interactive debate. See inside pack for details.
