This concert was recorded live on Marvin Gaye's first European tour in 1976. Filmed in Holland at the Edenhalle Concert Hall in Amsterdam before a sell-out audience, this show, preserved now for prosperity, was one of the rare live performances captured on film.

This DVD comprises a rare selection of insights into the diverse aspects of Marvin Gaye's personal and musicak world with special focus on the later period of his life. Ex-wife Anna Gaye, wife Jan Gaye and brother Frankie provide exclusive views and opinions on Marvin's approach to his life, his music and his spirituality. Odell Brown, his long-time arranger/music director and fellow musicians Doni Hagan and Deon Estus talk about the progression and developement of his music.
Family archive footage reveals Marvin's self-imposed exiles to Ostend, Belgium and to Hawaii. We are given a deeper insight into his bouts of drug abuse as well as Marvin's triumphant return to Los Angeles, leading to his tragic death on the eve of his 45th birthday.
This is the story of a man who has left behind a musical legacy that continues to influence many major contemptary artists and is being rediscovered by a younger generation of music lovers. His 1982 Grammy Award and 1987 introduction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame have permanently enshrined Marvin among the greatest of all musical legend.
