Stray Cats - Live at Montreux 1981 - Edel Music & Entertainment

Founded in 1967 by Claude Nobs, the Montreux Jazz Festival has established itself as one of the most prestigious annual music events in the world. The extraordinary list of artists who have played there is drawn from across the musical spectrum and from around the world. Now, with the consent of the festival and the artists, Eagle Vision is making these concerts available on DVD for the first time.

In 1981 the Stray Cats arrived in Montreux for what would be their only appearance at the festival. They were on peak form with their eponymous debut album riding high in the charts. The show features all their eary hit singles including "Runaway Boys", "Stray Cut Strut" and "Rock This Town" plus many other live favourites to deliver an evening of high energy rockabilly as only the Stray Cats can.
