From the moment sche opened her mouth in song, it was clear that Rosemary Cloony had an extraordinary gift, a sound that would touch the world. During the 1950s, she scored four number one and 13 Top-40 hits and engaged in a brief film career, but a crushing workload, the birth of five children in five years and then divorce, propelled her toward the breaking point. It was a long hard road back to respectability, but by the end of the 1970s, Rosemary had mounted a triumphant comeback. The combination of a beautiful voice and the maturity that she now brought to her performances made Rosemary not just a gifted artist, but a great one. Signed to Concord Records, she released a series of jazz albums and CDs that earned her eight Grammy nominations. Although Rosemary's voice was sadly stilled in 2002, she left behind a wonderful legacy of recordings and film performances. Here from long lost televisions programs hat she made in 1956 and 1957 is a celebration of the ultimate girl singer, Rosemary Clooney. This extraordinary production includes exclusive interviews with all of Rosemary's children (Miguel, Gabriel, Monsita and Rafael), her brother Nick Clooney, her nephew George Clooney and her friend, Michael Feinstein.
