Legendary italian striker Beppe Signori has made a significant contribution to his country's soccer success during a career that has seen him playing for Bologna FC, SS Lazio and italy.
Signori played a total of 344 serie A matches, and scored an outstanding 188 goals, and made 37 appearances for his country. This remarkable soccer player also helped italy reach the 1994 world cup final, and in 1996 he finished as serie A's top scorer for the third time. Signori left bologna in 2004 and subsequently played for al arabi in qatar and greece's iraklis FC. More recently, in november 2005, Signori announced his decision to sign with the small hungarian club sopron. This is a long term project and there are several promising young players.
