Italian football striker and manager Gianluca Vialli - born in cremona, italy, in july 1964 - started his soccer career in 1980 when he played for his local club cremonese, later moving on to sampdoria in genoa, and then joining juventus.
He was included in the italy squad for the 1986 mexico world cup finals. In 1997 Vialli signed with london's chelsea team and during his three years there he scored 40 goals in 83 appearances.
